For the first time there is herewith enclosed four copies of a historical report by the 468th Bombardment Group Advance Echelon at APO 210.  [These documents were not actually included in the microfilm]

The 25th Air Service Group has made an enviable record in this theatre both administratively and technically.  The 25th of this month was its first year anniversary of over-seas duty and it is now thrilled with semi-official information concerning a move to the Pacific area.  Almost any place in the world would be acceptable in exchange for a summer in this part of India.

But what is more to the point:  "Look out Japs--here we come."

There were several outstanding promotions rewarded Group officers best of which was 'Eagles' to Colonel Gardner.  We feel now that we have bloomed to full maturity.
